Located at East Gongyuan Road, the first sightseeing boulevard in the urban   area of Qingpu Shanghai, the CWI Rest Home (the Rest Home) leans against   Xiangyang River to the east, faces the museum and technological and cultural   center to the south and is adjacent to Qingpu Branch of Zhongshan Hospital to   the west. The Rest Home covers an area of over 30,000 square meters, and a floor   area of nearly 19,000 square meters. There is a multi-functional club, 3 joint   apartments facing both south and north with various functional orientations in   the Rest Home. The single-bed rooms, double rooms as well as large and small   suites total 217 with altogether 362 beds.

　　By taking advantage of the resources inside China Welfare Institute, the   Rest Home cooperates with the CWI Children’s Theatre, the CWI Children’s Palace,   the CWI Kindergarten, the CWI International Peace Maternity and Child Health   Hospital, and other associated organizations. The doctors from the Hospital are   invited on a regular basis to offer volunteer medical consultations while the   CWI Children’s Theatre often puts on short plays for the elders. Furthermore,   the children from the CWI Kindergarten and the CWI Nursery come to have a   get-together with the elders. With all of the aforesaid efforts, the residents   in the Rest Home may always stay dynamic by not only enjoying the high-quality   medical care and education for the aged, but also keeping up the pace with the   society.
