On the evening of July 31, the Shanghai International Children's Cultural & Art Festival 2014 which had lasted for one week lowered its curtain in Shanghai Children's Art Theatre.

The delegations of different countries continued presenting their wonderful performances. There were the children's chorus of South Korea, the hula dance of Hawaii, the aboriginal dance of New Zealand, the folk dance of Russia and the distinctive Chinese dance, which drew the outbursts of applause and screams from the audiencefrom time to time.

Outside the venue, the children from different countries planted the "colorful peace flags" on the signature wall of "Peace, Friendship and Future" and signed their own handprint signatures. At the photography and interaction area of "All the Hearts of Children around the World Connected as One", the little buddies s wearing the traditional costume of cultures of other countries invited one another for photographing together. On the wishing wall of "One Planet, One Dream", the children expressed their dreams in words and drawings. They also wrote their contact details on a colorful piece of paper and put it into a drifting bottle while picking upanotherto make a new friend.

As the closing ceremony went to an end, the children were still absorbed in the happiness, reluctant to leave. They rushed to the stage and embraced one another warmly with tears of departure glistening in their eyes, for the few days' get-together had left them with a close friendship between each other. They clapped hands with one another as a promise for future gathering. This is the best interpretation of the "Peace, Friendship and Future" conveyed by the Art Festival.
