From Dec. 6th to 15th Mrs. Wang Lu Ning vice chairman and secretary of the leading Party group of China Welfare Institute brought 4 people delegation visited Australia and New Zealand. And attended the ceremony of the establishment of the Soong Ching Ling foundation in New Zealand.

The delegation visited the city of Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland and called on the China consulate general; they visited the maternity and child health hospital and have talked with the principal of Chinese school. The consul general fully affirmed the achievements in China revolution and construction made by China Welfare Institute and Soong Ching Ling. He said that China Welfare Institute is a non government institute. It is easy to be accepted by the overseas Chinese and organizations in foreign counties. Hope that China Welfare Institute can give full scope of the national people’s organization, through the way of “children clear the way and culture follow up “to strengthen the liaison with the organizations of the friendship countries. Develop the long term effect of the children’s education and culture and maternal and child hygiene exchange and cooperate.

On Dec. 12th, the New Zealand Soong Ching Ling Foundation was established in the famous Auckland the city of sails. Mr. Ho phil Goff the leader of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mr. Li Yong Chuan, the vice consul general, Mr. Huo Jian Qiang the member of the parliament of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mrs. Wang Lu Ning the vice chairman and secretary of the leading Party group of China Welfare Institute, and the chairmen of the Soong Ching Ling Foundations Philippines, Australia and Italy etc. more than 60 guests attended the ceremony. Mrs. Wang Lu Ning made a congratulating speech. The members of the New Zealand Soong Ching Ling Foundation are full of vigorous young people aged from 30 to 40 years old. They are local industrialists and leaders of the famous Chinese organizations. Some have entered the main aspect of the New Zealand. Their aim is to promoting the international exchange of the children’s culture and education, to prepare to construct a high level pre -school educational organization.
