From Feb. 13 to 20, 2013, Mrs. Xu Yun, Deputy Director of Shanghai CWI Rest Home headed a delegation of 4 staff members to Lausanne to attend the Fachkongress Alter upon the invitation by CURAVIVA Switzerland, and meanwhile carried out an 8-day-long investigation and study of old-age care systems in Switzerland and Austria.

　　Fachkongress Alter 2013 was held in Lausanne Olympic Center on Feb. 14 and 15. As a biennial international conference of CURAVIVA Switzerland, the organizer invited the Chinese representatives to be present for the first time.

　　In Switzerland, the delegation visited two nursing homes in Lausanne which manifest the advantages of European nursing homes in respect of management and policy welfare. The delegation gained new inspiration and vigor for conducting future work of CWI Rest Home. What’s more, the delegation visited a chain nursing home in Vienna, Austria for observation and study.

　　During the stay, CWI Rest Home also reached the consensus of long-term cooperation with Switzerland. In November this year, the core team of CURAVIVA Switzerland will come to Shanghai to attend the Shanghai International Pension Industry Conference and visit CWI Rest Home as well as other famous nursing homes in Shanghai. Both parties will discuss the details of cooperation on the occasion.
