| President of Benesse Holdings and his Party Visited CWI |

On November 11, the delegation of Benesse Holdings led by President Tamotsu Adachi had a visit to China Welfare Institute (CWI). Ms. Zhao Danni，Vice Chairwoman, Party Secretary and Secretary-General and Ji Hongxing, Deputy Party Secretary received our guests along with others.
The two parties exchanged views on the achievements of the cooperation over the past ten years and ideas for cooperation in the future.
Since 2006, the jointly developed “Happy Learning World” series have become widely used and favorite cultural products for families with children 7 months to 8 years old. Various forms of services such stage play, indoor themed park, experience center, Qiaohu Carnival have also been developed based on the brand Qiaohu (Eric). As an influential family education product in China, our members have exceeded 1 million by 2016. “Happy Learning World” also launched public welfare activities through CWI and the CWI Publishing House and successively donated products to kindergartens and schools in remote areas of Guizhou, Guangxi, Anhui, Hubei, Sichuan, and Xinjiang and so on.
During the meeting, there was discussion about further cooperation in fields such as international education and public welfare social service programs.
Guests present include principals of Benesse Holdings, Benesse Trading Co., Ltd and Shanghai Children’s Epoch Benesse Culture Development Co., Ltd. And staff from relevant functional departments of CWI and the CWI Publishing House attended the meeting. |
