| On Dec.8th, Lan Wilmut who created the fist cloned Dolly and the professor in University of Edinburgh, Scotland visited CWI maternity and child health hospital, and listen to the report of the achievement of the reaserchment of stem cells. He appraised the work of stem cells research in our hospital and hopes to cooperate in future. 
Ian Wilmut, the scientist whose team at Scotland's Roslin Institute cloned Dolly — born July 5, 1996. Dolly the sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult cell. Her birth was announced in February 1997. Dolly’s born aroused debates of the animal cloned technology. It selected the first one of the ten science progresses by the American “science” magazine in 1997. It also was the news of most attracted the gaze of the people at that time. Lan Wilmut now works in University of Edinburgh.
