Recently the 40 students and teachers of the CWI children’s palace little companion art troupe came to the Shanghai People’s Armed Police No. one detachment No. ten squadron which are stationed in the Shanghai People’s government namely “ new generation under the neon light” for a special performance as an expression of gratitude.

Armed police uncles are the guards of the Expo. They dedicated to the security work of the Expo silently. During the 184 days of the opening of the Expo, the national flag team of the ten squadron undertakes all the flag raising ceremony of the opening of the Expo and the national pavilion days.

In order to expressed the sincere solicitude for the bodyguards of the Expo, the little companion art troupe special selected the dance, traditional national instrumental trio and paper cut show, accordion assemble etc. classic programs for performance. They also performed the puppet show “be full of joy to celebrate the Expo” for the armed police to express their happy feeling of the successful of the opening of the Expo.
Then the little companion under the guidance of the instructors of the armed police. They came to the rest room of the people’s square station of the subway to perform for the armed police who were working in the forefront. The performance got applause and favorable comments by the armed police.

The little companion took the utmost care to create the paper cut “happy Expo” and sand it to the armed police as a gift. The publicity department of Shanghai People’s Armed Police made the video tape of all the performance by the little companion art troupe,, and will make the VCD for sanding to its basic companies.
