  In view of the historical development need of human kind and building up a future at a new commanding height, the CWI Children’s Palace was founded by Mme Soong Ching-ling, the late Honorary Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, on June 1, 1953. It is a comprehensive and public-oriented after-school activity center for youngsters and children set up upon scientific thoughts on children’s education.

  Guided by the operation policy of “doing experiments and setting examples” and the concept of serving youngsters and children for 365 days a year, CWI Children’s Palace has consistently planned and arranged an extensive range of cultural and educational activities oriented at the public benefits for youngsters and children for over 50 years, centering on the ideological and moral education and attaching great importance to the cultivation of creativity and practical power. Such activities have been proved to play an irreplaceable role in the ideological and moral education and development of all-round talents for the juveniles.
